You know what you're looking for.
You're not here by chance. You're not here to learn to ski. You're here for something else.
You want to leave the marked runs and explore off-piste with someone who knows the terrain.
You're preparing for a technical test: BASI, Eurotest, DE exam.
You want to discover ski touring or skinning.
You're looking for someone who won't treat you like a beginner — but who won't leave you on your own either.
Hors-piste, ski de randonnée et prépa technique à La Plagne, aux Arcs et à Courchevel-Méribel.
Let's organise your stay :
It all starts with a conversation.
No commitment, no automatic quote — just a chat to understand what you need.
Rather than choosing a standard package, we recommend a prior conversation to calibrate together the best formula for your goal. It's free, no commitment, and it's the best way to avoid paying for what you don't need.
Our vision of the tailored lessons :
Truly tailor-made.
No pre-packaged programme, no package you're forced into a box.
Every Sur-Mesure lesson is built from a prior conversation: your goal, your schedule, your constraints, your real level.
Votre confiance, notre expertise.
More than a ski lesson, an exchange between capable and qualified skiers — with no hierarchy or know-it-all instructor posture.
Our approach is collaborative: your instructor tells you what she sees, you tell her what you feel, and we build together.
Off-piste, ski touring, technical prep.
We have the certifications, the terrain, the experience. With knowledge of several ski areas, we can also travel with you and connect you with our trusted professional network to offer the right solution for what you're looking for.
Everything you want to know before booking
- Does ski touring require specific equipment?
Yes, and we can point you towards our partner rental shops which offer suitable equipment (lightweight skis, binding inserts, skins). For a first outing, rental is more than enough.
- Can you prepare me for BASI / DE / Eurotest?
Yes. Several of our instructors are themselves trainers and have recent personal experience of these tests. Mention it at booking so we can point you towards the right person.
- Combien d'heures pour préparer un test technique ?
It depends on your starting level and the test you're aiming for. We recommend not counting too rigidly, as preparation and progress are individual — it's better to build it gradually based on short-term goals and progress. As a rough guide, plan for 15 to 30 hours of targeted preparation over the year, spread out. Our Long Cours package is particularly well suited to this kind of long-term preparation.
- My friends and I are at different levels — is that a problem?
Not if the gap remains reasonable and you share the same goal (for example, an off-piste day). Beyond a certain gap, it's better to plan for two instructors or two separate slots. We'll tell you honestly during our prior conversation.
